The price of a white water session at Pinkston has been reduced from £10 to £6.50 for the winter months as we will only have the white water running for an hour during the colder weather. The flat water will still be available for two hours for general paddling and Polo practice as usual.
Last weekend a few of us got together to take part in the Barge Pull as part of the Then/Now project. The object of the exercise was to have different groups pull a working barge with around 10 tons of timber on board as far as possible in 2 minutes. The GKC team managed to beat the horse and the dog, but were humiliated by a bunch of kids 🙂…

The next regatta that we will be attending is the Super Sprint at Pinkston 11th and 12th June. Further information about this great event can be found below;
There will be No Training session on Saturday (27th June), the session will be on Sunday (28th June) instead. Same times 10am till 11am for beginners and 11am till 1pm for regulars.
We are so exited to say that the COUNT DOWN is on until the Glasgow Canal Marathon and the Scottish Marathon Championships (Lightnings). We will be hosting these great events on Sunday 14th June at Applecross Street. More information to follow in the next couple of days.
