First Post Lockdown session.

This session will be confirmed as going ahead on Monday evening – in case there are any changes to rules…
This session will be limitted to members that have paddled at Pinkston before as we are easing back into things, also to those that have booked by 13:00 on Tuesday afternoon.
Paddlers will be split into groups to work in separate areas of the course to maintain compliance with Scottish Government rules, the groups will be of coach / leader & up to 5 people from a maximum of 4 households.
Social Distancing should be maintained throughout, both on arrival (park with this in mind) / exit from Pinkston and whilst paddling. You will be responsible for your own equipment and asked not to touch other participants equipment. Please bring your own sanatiser. For those that need club equipment there will be one person that enters the container at the start and at the end of the evening (to minimise the chance of cross contamination).
Changing rooms will NOT be available.
An outdoor paddling session in the controlled environment of Pinkston Watersports Centre.
The coached white water session is for paddlers progressing from flat water paddling to moving and white water paddling –
Ready for briefing at 18:50 and to get on the water at 19:00
Skills being taught include basic forward paddling in moving water, ferry gliding across the current, breaking in and out of eddies and paddling upstream. With the basic skills mastered, coaching will teach breaking in & out of more powerful water, developing skills for confident forward paddling in white water to allow running the full white water course and surfing on smaller wave features.
We supply all equipment, or you can bring your own.
We provide wetsuits and cagoules if required. Dress to get wet!
Price £10.00 per session including white water. Annual season tickets are available for a flat rate. See here for details.
